Government Higher Secondary School Pashkum (GHSSP) is one of the top flourishing schools in district Kargil of UT Ladakh, established in 1941 and upgraded in 2018 as higher secondary school managed by department of education. Govt higher secondary school is located at 34.500N, 76.1oE in the lab of Linkipal mountain, GHSSP is a dynamic space for growth and learning of students. NH1D highway linked the school with transportation facility and the school is landmarked by the famous Larchay masjeed at about half a kilometer from the school premise.
The school enrolled students from diverse areas of Kargil mostly from Pashkum, TV station, Tacha Karith, Kukstay, Skambo and Lotsum.
The infrastructure consists of 9 Classrooms, 2 Laboratories, MDM kitchen, well and fully equipped library, a smart classroom for making viewed teaching instruction, information and communication technology (ICT) lab equipped with about 20 desktops and 1 interactive penal.
